This video will introduce you to counters. Counters are one of the fundamental
building blocks for various digital circuits and are used widely to enable a bunch
of different functionality.
In this video we would discuss how to design a simple counter by differentiating
the sequential and combinational elements of the design. Through these set of
videos we would be designing three different types of counters:

- Simple counter which increments by 1 every cycle
- Counter which can counter either up or down depending on input
- Self reloading counter using load valid and load value as inputs
