Shift Register

This video will introduce you to shift registers. Just like counters, shift registers are also one of the fundamental building blocks for various digital circuits. These are used widely to either move bits left or right in a vector depending on the functionality.

In this video we would discuss how to design a shift register by differentiating the sequential and combinational elements of the design. Through these set of videos we would be designing two different types of shift registers:

• Left Shift
• Right Shift
